The flagship program of the Nashville Arts & Business Council culminates in the Periscope Pitch & Artist Entrepreneur Showcase. As artists across a multitude of disciplines display their work at tables and take their turns on stage, an all-star panel of judges and attendees vote live to determine which artists will walk away with cash prizes. At our table, participants created a community collage where they were asked to identify their relationship to my memories and others' art. For the Black Mythology Project's vision of using the art of the Black diaspora to help participants heal at the level of identity, we were awarded with the Nash2024 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award!
